    Interface TimelineChild

    What a timeline can drive: a Tween or another Timeline.

    Structural rather than a union of the two classes, so the timeline states its actual requirements — a total duration, playback that can be started and stopped, and pure evaluation by local time — and so a future player (a clip player, WP-4.6) satisfies it without this file importing it.

    interface TimelineChild {
        state: TimelineState;
        totalDuration: number;
        play(): unknown;
        seek(timeSeconds: number): unknown;
        stop(): unknown;
    }
    Index

    Playback state; Timeline.at accepts only "idle" children.

    totalDuration: number

    Full length in seconds, including the child's own repeats or loops.

    • Called once, by Timeline.play, in at() insertion order.

      Returns unknown

    • Pure evaluation at a child-local time in seconds.

      Parameters

      • timeSeconds: number

      Returns unknown

    • Called by Timeline.stop; releases the child's property claims.

      Returns unknown
