    Function ballisticApexHeight

    • Height of the parabola's vertex above the launch point, measured along the "up" axis −ĝ:

      v_up = −(velocity · gravity) / |gravity|
      apexHeight = v_up² / (2 · |gravity|)

      Always >= 0: the vertex of a parabola that curves along gravity is the highest point of the whole curve, so it is at or above the launch point even when ballisticTimeToApex is negative and the vertex lies in the past. Infinity when gravity is zero (no vertex exists).

      The height is measured along the gravity axis only — the horizontal drift is whatever predictBallistic says at timeToApex.
