Default bound on FirstPersonLook.pitch, in radians: π/2 − 1e-3,
just short of straight up.
The same value and the same argument as DEFAULT_ORBIT_PITCH_LIMIT, reached
from the other side: at exactly ±π/2 the eye's forward axis is parallel to
world +Y, which is the configuration Node.lookAt refuses (§85 — the roll
is undetermined) and the one at which a yaw-then-pitch decomposition stops
having a unique answer. One milliradian short is invisible — about 0.06° —
and keeps the composition non-degenerate by a comfortable margin rather than
by one ULP.
